In chapter 3 ROYAL AND GENERAL Alex Rider receives a call from the bank, John Crawley it was they were wondering if Alex was able to come in to the bank, they had found some papers of his uncle and needed to talk to him about own position. At the bank Alex tried to jump through a window into his uncles office and held on to a union jack slowly with huge effort he pulled himself up and some how was able to climb back onto the pole he then threw himself on to the ledge out side Ian Rider's(uncle) office
